Thank goodness for horseshoes. Thank goodness that we like to sleep with our window open. And thank goodness I am now a light sleeper since having children. Last night, I was woken up by the sound of horseshoes on our driveway. With a gasp and quick hike of my shorts, I ran out the door. Handy husband and I spent our 3 o'clock a.m. hour herding two horses, a donkey, and a sheep back into the pasture.
Brownie has become quite the problem. Just this week, he has learned how to unlatch the stall door and get into Cowgirl's stall to eat her dinner. Now, the stinker has learned how to open the pasture gate.
The morning sunrise cast a beautiful light on our chewed up lawn. Apparently, the shindig had been going on for quite sometime before I was woken up.
